Trouble Makers relies on program fees to support our operations and mission. We understand that circumstances may arise that require participants to cancel their registration, and we strive to accommodate these requests while also managing the costs associated with cancellations.
Annual Membership fees are non-refundable.
Programs cancelled 61 days or more in advance of programming will be refunded in full.
Programs cancelled 30 - 60 days in advance will be refunded in full, minus a 20% administrative fee per registrant (and per week of Spring & Summer Studio Intensives, if applicable.)
No refunds are provided for programs cancelled within 30 days of the start of the program.
Fees are not adjusted, credited, or reimbursed for missed sessions. In the rare event that Trouble Makers must cancel a session, a makeup session will be offered or a credit provided.

At Trouble Makers, I strive to create a safe, inclusive environment for everyone.
I use behavioural management techniques such as setting clear expectations for behaviour, identifying and removing environmental stressors, providing positive reinforcement, using empowering language, active listening, and offering friendly reminders of what appropriate behaviour looks, sounds, and feels like.
As conflicts arise, I support children through conflict resolution discussions. This relational work is typical for this age and stage of development, may be frequent/ongoing, and is as important as any other part of the programming .
I am on your child’s team and you know your child best. If your child is having a challenging time, I will connect with you to discuss strategies to support their continued participation.
That said, I will make the decision to remove a student from the program if I deem they are unable at the current time to participate safely, such as in in the event of violence to themselves or others, hateful/offensive/abusive language, bullying, damaging property, refusing to follow safety rules, and/or repeatedly running out of sight. In this unlikely event, I will call you to pick-up your child and refunds are not available.
-
In consideration for the safety of those with life-threatening allergies, The Living Room is a nut-free environment. Please ensure lunches and snacks are tree-nut and peanut free.
-
Please notify Rebekka by email of absence or late arrival.
Parents/Guardians will be notified by email of any un-explained absence by email within 1 hour of the start of programming.
